Pears

Since its early days Enza has grown and marketed premium pear varieties to the world. As a specialty pipfruit, Enza pears are enjoyed for a short season in markets like the USA, Canada, UK, and New Zealand.

Pears have a mild, sweet flavour, and are one of the highest-fibre fruits available, offering six grams per medium-sized fruit. Pears contain a fair amount of vitamins C, K, B2, B3, and B6, and in the mineral department contain calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper, and manganese. Lastly they are rich source of important antioxidants.
