Thomas Bargetzi

Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Bargetzi was appointed interim CEO of T&G Global in December 2017. Swiss-born, Thomas has worked with BayWa as a consultant for over a decade and has more than 25 years management expertise across the FMCG industry. He is a certified economist, has a Masters of Marketing and undertook postgraduate study in business planning and controlling with an MBA from City University, Washington, USA. Thomas is also fluent in English, German, Italian and French and an avid sportsman.

Wolfgang Loose

Chief Financial Officer

Wolfgang joined T&G Global on 1 February 2017 as chief financial officer from BayWa in Munich where he was head of tax for seven years. He leads a team of more than 90 staff in 12 countries who are the business partner of T&G’s people, customers, suppliers and shareholders fulfilling a multitude of finance needs and expectations. Wolfgang’s experience extends to audit, merger and acquisitions, credit management and business administration.

Andrew Keaney

Executive General Manager NZ Produce

Andrew joined T&G Global as executive general manager New Zealand produce in May 2014. He leads a national team covering our New Zealand markets as well as the tropical, citrus and covered crops commercial categories and transport to service the needs of both our New Zealand retail and grower customers.

Darren Drury

Executive General Manager Pipfruit

Darren joined T&G Global as executive general manager, pipfruit in June 2014 having previously been sales and marketing manager, pipfruit for Delica Global. He leads T&G Global’s global pipfruit business and champions our New Zealand and North American grown apples to millions of customers every day.

Sarah McCormack

Executive General Manager International

Sarah has held the role of executive general manager international with T&G Global since August 2015. Prior to this she was general manager sales and marketing of our diversified products team for three years and a founder, shareholder and senior manager of Delica Global which was purchased by T&G Global in 2014.

Tim Clarkson

Chief Strategy Officer

Tim is responsible for T&G Global’s group strategy, budget, reporting, mergers and acquisition investments, joint ventures and divestments. He leads a team focused on building long term growth for T&G’s key produce categories and major trading activities in domestic and international markets.

Colin Lyford

General Manager Processed Foods

Colin has been general manager processed foods since February 2014 and leads our prepared foods business including sales, trading and the processing of food and beverage products. Colin and his team manage both our New Zealand operations which process up to 120,000 tonnes of apples, summer fruit and berries into juice concentrate and solids for foodservice customers in Australasia and North America each year as well as our Fruitmark sales and trading operation where we supply 35,000 tonnes of fruit and vegetable ingredients into the beverage and food industry in Australia, USA and New Zealand.

Lynn Johnson

Chief Human Resources Officer

T&G places huge value on the development and well-being of its people. Lynn leads our human resources team who are responsible for supporting business teams, recruitment, health and safety, learning and development and payroll.

Jonathan Good

Chief Technology & Operating Officer

Jonathan joined T&G Global as chief technology and operating officer in August 2015 from Fonterra where he was most recently general manager business and retail development. He leads T&G’s technology development and operations teams.

Board Of Directors

Klaus Josef Lutz

Professor Klaus Lutz is chair of T&G Global’s board and has been BayWa AG’s chief executive officer since July 2008. He was appointed honorary professor of Managerial Economics of Co-operative Societies at the Technical University of Munich in 2013 and has been vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Munich and Upper Bavaria since 2016.

Andreas Helber

Andreas Helber has been BayWa AG’s chief financial officer since 2010. Mr Helber is on the supervisory boards of a number of listed and private companies and began his career at KPMG in Munich where he qualified as a tax consultant and auditor.

John Wilson

John Wilson is Chairman of Fonterra Co-Operative Group Limited. Prior to joining the Fonterra Board, Mr Wilson held a number of leadership roles in New Zealand’s dairy industry. He is also a director of Milktech Limited, Hugh Green Capital Limited and a number of other companies. He is also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Mau Wah Liu

Mau Wah Liu has more than 30 years of experience in the produce industry and enterprise management. In 1998, he founded Golden Wing Mau Enterprise Development Co., Ltd. He is the Chairman of Golden Wing Mau Agricultural Produce Corporation (Joy Wing Mau Group), which he established in 2003. Mr Liu has won numerous industry honours and awards including receiving the China Fruit Marketing Association Award “Person of the Year” in 2016.

Ralf Tobias Priske

Ralf Tobias Priske joined the T&G board in December 2017. He started working for BayWa AG in 1998 as member of the legal department providing advice to all different branches of the company and had a leading role in the acquisition of the majority of the shares of T&G by BayWa in 2012. From 2013 to 2015 he worked for the renewable energy sector of the BayWa Group as Deputy Legal Counsel focusing on establishing the renewable energy business in the USA. In July 2015 Mr Priske was appointed as BayWa’s Company Secretary and lives in Rosenheim near Munich, Germany.

Carol Campbell

Carol Campbell was appointed as a director in June 2010 and is currently chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Previously a partner of Ernst & Young for 25 years she is also director of a number of other companies including NZ Post Ltd, Kingfish Ltd, Marlin Global Ltd, Barramundi Ltd, Kiwibank Ltd and NZME Limited.

Christiane Bell

Christiane Bell has sat on T&G Global’s board as representative of our majority shareholder, BayWa since 2014. She joined BayWa as fresh produce director in 2013 and was previously fruits and vegetables buyer of Penny Markt, a German discount chain.
