The BayWa Global Produce team is looking forward to re-connecting in person with its customers and partners at Asia Fruit Logistica in Bangkok this November.

Benedikt Mangold, Chief Executive of BayWa Global Produce, says it will be great to showcase the combined strengths and expertise of the companies. “Our stand brings together all of BayWa Global Produce’s entities, reinforcing our collective scale and the synergies of our business model.”

The team – consisting of BayWa Global Produce, T&G Global, TFC Holland, BayWa Obst and VentureFruit™ – will have a shared stand at H-17 during the three-day exhibition, showcasing its premium Envy™ and JAZZ™ apple brands.

T&G Global Chief Executive Officer Gareth Edgecombe says it will be fantastic to be back at Asia Fruit Logistica again.

“Asia is a key growth market for T&G, with strong demand for our premium apple brands, and it will be great to catch up and connect with our valued partners,” says Gareth.

“Our flagship Envy™ brand is the perfect celebration apple, with its large red size, balanced sweetness, fresh aroma and satisfying crunch, which makes it perfect for gifting. These attributes appeal to consumers across Asia, especially in Thailand, China and Vietnam where Envy™ has big potential. And our JAZZ™ apples have a strong presence across Asia, appealing to families with children as the ideal snack on the go.

“Having just come off the back of a highly successful Mid-Autumn Festival in Asia where we sold over one million Envy™ apples in China, we’re looking forward to discussing the forthcoming North American season and our plans for Envy™ and JAZZ™ across the region.”

BayWa Global Produce together with its entities sources a colourful portfolio of fruit and vegetables from all over the world, ranging from apples and stone fruit to berries and exotics. “While each business has its own strategy and operating model, as a network we’re able to combine our strengths and leverage our global reach, and together showcase the impressive work we’re doing in areas such as plant genetics, growing, marketing and innovation,” Benedikt Mangold ends.

The BayWa Global Produce team will be at stand H-17 for the duration of Asia Fruit Logistica, from November 2 – 4.

The three-day exhibition celebrates the entire fresh produce value chain, with representatives from companies all over the world attending.
